Duties/Responsibilities:

· Initiate online onboarding links for new hires; process paper applications by extensive data entry of the new hire information

· Download online onboarded applications and I-9s to save on secure server

· Tracks status of new hires in HRIS and respond with follow-up emails or calls to complete paperwork for payroll

· Performs customer service functions by answering employee questions and assists with troubleshooting of log ins and registrations

· Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.

· Submits online investigation requests and assists with new employee background checks, initiate offsite drug screen testing

· Process employee payroll changes such as direct deposits, classification status, and pay rates

· Complete employment and income verification requests

· Add new employees to time clock

· Process terminations by approval in the HRIS system, and moving their personnel file to appropriate folders

· Receive and process certificate of insurance requests from clients by submitting to workers’ compensation carrier for issuance

· Complete Bureau of Labor surveys and questionnaires

· Upload New Hire Reports to Child Support agencies

· Upload weekly new hire, rehire, and payroll reports to third-party unemployment administrator

· Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to type 45+ wpm

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

· Ability to work via dual screen monitors

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
